The Sauganash Elementary School class of 1968 celebrated their thirty-fifth year reunion on Saturday, May 3, 2003. The reunion was held in the Sauganash School gym and was attended by two-thirds of the graduating class. Graduates from Wisconsin, New York, Ohio, California, North Carolina, Minnesota, Virginia, Washington State, Ohio, Arizona, and even Alaska attended the reunion! Several parents of the graduates also attended the reunion includ­ing past and present Sauganash residents Mrs. Arnow, Dr. & Mrs. Valentine Hogstrom, Mrs. Jane Lamb, Mrs. Gene Nevins, Mrs. Mary Virginia Simon, Mr. & Mrs. John Thyssen and Mrs. Beatrice Vroustouris. The class of 1968 wishes to express their appreciation to the principal of Sauganash School, Christine Munns, as well is engineer Mike Suvanto for helping to make the reunion a success by assisting in the planning of the reunion as well as allowing the use of the school gym.
