The membership committee presented and discussed new ideas to

and plans to repair and/or replace the flag and accessories. We were
reminded that the 2007 Holiday Party would be replaced with a party
in the Spring.
A member of the Sauganash Design Committee stated that work is
continuing on the community booklet. We were reminded of the ongoing
project by the Loyola University Graduate School students as they
continue their research on our community's architectural designs to
see if Sauganash qualifies for the National Registry of Historic
Places. This could offer tax benefits for those who choose to
remodel their homes following their guidelines. As more information
is collected it will be placed in the design booklet.
The President reported that he has attended meetings with a group of
residents concerned with traffic problems in the community. They are
working with the alderman's office and the city to help reduce
speeding and cut though traffic. These plans are in the early stages
of discussion.
The President reported that work by the Alderman's office continues
to address other traffic problems in the community. Discussion
continues with the Sauganash Chamber of Commerce and Whole Foods in
seeking solutions to the problems at Cicero and Peterson.

tentatively scheduled for May 22nd, location will be announced soon.
