JANUARY 2006 MEETING UPDATES

Board of Directors of the Sauganash Community Assn. Minutes of Meeting of January 24, 2006.

A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Sauganash Community Assn. was held on January 24, 2006 at the North Shore Community Bank.

President Dennis Hammer called the meeting to order at 7:01 PM.

Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.  A motion to accept the financial report was approved and accepted.

Snow plowing services were discussed. Due to city snow plowing and an early melt, it was decided not to use our private serves for the recent storm. The service was used for the large storm in December and it did an excellent job.

It was reported that we have 781 members to date.

It was reported that the association co-sponsored the meeting with the Alderman's office and the 15th precinct concerning the Whole Foods liquor license. As an association it has been decided not to take a stand on this issue.

The holiday party was held December 9, 2005 at the Irish Heritage Center. Attendance was lower than last year. Other options will be explored for next year.

The open meeting will be Tuesday, May 9.

The Alderman's office continues to work with the real estate committee. They have been notifying the committee of any administrative adjustments (variances) that are applied for in our community.

Last year's successful 4th of July chairperson has graciously offered to serve for a second year. This is a tough job and volunteers would be welcome. Please call the hotline (773-777-3393) if you can help.

The meeting adjourned at 7:55 P.M.
