published in the Sauganash Sounds.
The membership committee reported that the dues notice would be
published in the next issue of the Sauganash Sounds and letters will
be sent to the homeowners.
The new slate of officers will also be published in the Sounds.
The group discussed the steps being taken to have the flag pole and
flag repaired in time for the Fourth of July celebration.
It was announced that there would be a breakfast meeting of the
Sauganash Chamber of Commerce on March 29 where the Vision 2010 Plan
for Sauganash will be presented. The community will be hearing more
about this Plan in the near future.
At a recent meeting the President was informed that two projects
will be impacting the vehicular traffic in our neighborhood. The
city will be replacing the Cicero Avenue Bridge over the river
between Forest Glen and Foster, allowing only one lane of traffic.
Additionally, the State will be replacing the Foster Avenue Bridge
over the Edens Expressway. Foster Avenue will be completely closed
in both directions, from June 1 to September 15.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 P.M.
