A new neighborhood restaurant, the Corner Place, is expected to open at 5750 N. Rogers Ave. in late March or early April.  The restaurant will serve coffee from Intelligentsia, a local roaster, homemade Italian Ice, soups, salads, hot and cold sandwiches, smoothies and coffee drinks.

 

The restaurant will feature a play area for children and will hold story-telling events several times a week. It also will feature couches near a fireplace and wingback chairs near large windows for adults.

 

The owners, Sauganash residents Michael and Natalie Moore, also own Pasta Palazzo in Lincoln Park and TWIST in Lakeview.
